Job Overview On behalf of our client, CMS is recruiting for the positions of Hydro-Technical manager for a well established industry leader in Environmental Engineering.
Our client’s services include site assessments and reclamation, monitoring and remediation of contaminated groundwater and soils, environmental impact assessments and audits, river engineering and aquatics assessments and project/program peer review and monitoring. From their head office in Calgary, Alberta, and several other offices in Alberta and British Columbia, we serve industry, government and institutional clients throughout western and northern Canada, and worldwide.
The Hydrotechnical team lead will be responsible for project management of report writing, and the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of hydrology surface water applications. The position will involve some field work and travel.
Job Requirements The ideal candidate will have a B.Sc. in civil, environmental, or geological engineering or a technical diploma with a specialization in remediation. Applicants must have 10 years of senior experience in water crossings, intakes, and channel diversions, surface mining projects, flood plain developments and bridges.
Also the applicant must be versed in design and regulatory application, field engineering, construction, project management and business development.
