Job Overview
Our client is looking for a process engineer to be based out of Ft. McMurray.  In this position you will be responsible for providing engineering support to the Operations team as well as support auxiliary operations.

You’ll be responsible for a wide range of engineering functions to support the safe operation of the Processing Facilities, well pads, pipelines, control and auxiliary systems. 

This position also involves ensuring compliance with HSE issues so previous experience in management of HSE will be a strong asset. 

Serving as an expert you’ll be looked upon for technical advice, design review and optimization for all levels of our client’s mining operations. 

This will prove to be an excellent opportunity for an established process engineer to bring their expertise to a technological and cultural cutting edge team. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Mining and/or Mineral Process Engineering
• A career specialization in Production & Manufacturing Downstream Operations
• A proven ability to understand the technological and economical factors in Ft. McMurray’s oilsands
• The ability to lead and participate in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to create clear & concise reports/recommendations to management
