Job Overview
An established engineering firm in the heavy utility sector senior electrical engineer to head up the electrical elements of their Southern Alberta operations. You'll be involved in designing, approving and overseeing the management of a variety of utility projects.

This is a company that fosters an innovative & progressive environment where every employee understands their role on the team. You'll be looked upon for guidance from the engineering staff and because of this a very strong knowledge of the utility sector is required.

In this position you will also be exposed to large-scale project management responsibilities and be able to understand the entire construction process from tendering through commissioning.  You’ll also be expected to write & understand technical documents and detailed proposals. 

Job Requirements
You must have a recognized electrical engineering degree with at least seven years of experience as a certified P.Eng.  You will also have very strong business acumen with the ability to understand complex economics as they relate to the construction process.

This experience must be from the heavy utility sector - large scale industrial projects are not what our client is looking for.
