Job Title: Central Canadian Territory Manager – Residential Construction Materials

Job Compensation: Base salary and commission for realistic six figure earnings first year

Our client is a US manufacturer of residential building materials. We are looking for someone who can manage all four channels of residential building sales; contractors, architects, distributors and dealerships. A good deal of volume comes from the retail distribution channel so a particular focus in that area will pay dividends.
You’ll be managing a territory from Alberta to Manitoba with a particular emphasis on central Alberta. Realistic travel time would sit around 25-35% first year with that number growing in time and you penetrate that market.
This is a hard working team where results and accountability are vital to success and fit. You’ll bring multi-million dollar budgetary experience, ideally managing distribution networks. They have an established presence in central Canada as well as a unique position.
10+ years of residential building materials – preferably managing large retail accounts as well as end-user accounts.
Outstanding MS Office skills as well as communication & presentation skills.
Proven ability to independently manage a large territory.
A work ethic that goes beyond the 9-5 norms.
This position will involve roughly 25-35% travel time
